Foreman

A Fiber-optic Construction Foreman at CCG is an opportunity to supervise construction crews throughout the fiber building process. We are looking for someone who is passionate about telecommunications work and can communicate effectively with a variety of team members.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage a crew of drill locators, drill operators, laborers, and hydrovac operators
  • Organize daily and weekly plans
  • Report progress of field activities
  • Follow stated laws, permits, and engineering plans
  • Ensure safety of field operators and equipment
  • Operate heavy equipment as needed
  • Interact with city vendors, residential customers, and field technicians
  • Training new team members on all aspects of field work
  • Perform under stress to achieve optimum results
  • Work alongside project managers to maintain deadlines
  • Identify issues and deploy solutions efficiently

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Construction, excavating, splicing or telecom supervisor experience
  • CDL preferred
  • Operating knowledge for a variety of machines
  • Ability to work outside in all conditions
  • Ability to pass a drug screening
  • Open to travel

Physical Abilities 

The successful candidate will be able to perform the following with or without reasonable accommodation: 

  • Ability to lift 70+ pounds 
  • Must be able to walk, stoop, kneel, bend, crawl, and move through a job site 
  • Ability to work in confined spaces 
  • Must be able to be active for 8+ hours per day 
  • Ability to drive for extended periods of time 

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary range for this position is: $34-46 hourly

Actual base pay for this job will depend on the candidate’s primary work location and other factors, such as relevant skills and experience. Pavlov Media is committed to complying with the Equal Pay Act and places a strong emphasis on internal equity when determining compensation. Final pay will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and alignment with our internal equity standards, ensuring fairness and consistency across the organization. The salary banding for this role also allows room for growth, with opportunities for pay increases within the band based on performance and contributions.
