Job Description:

The VoIP Deployment Technician will be our primary point of contact for VoIP Deployments. You will design, administer, maintain, and deploy ATAs, PBX platforms, SIP trunks, E911, and handset devices, demonstrating a good understanding of VoIP, switching, and routing technologies. As a VoIP Deployment Technician, you will collaborate with clients and other departments of Pavlov Media to install and support VoIP solutions. An ideal applicant would have a solid understanding of VoIP and networking technologies and be able to prioritize activities depending on business requirements. This position will include extensive fieldwork and engagement with customers. It is an onsite position.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Setup, design, configure, and install new PBX clients 
  • Go onsite and install our VoIP systems at client offices and train them on its usage 
  • Provide VoIP support to existing clients 
  • Keeping Ticket and inventory paperwork for each job

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • B.A. recommended or equivalent work experience 
  • Working knowledge of Networking systems 
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of VoIP systems and SIP traces  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • 1 years or more in VoIP technology positions 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Visio  
  • Time management and multi-tasking skills 
  • Ability to easily adapt to changes in process, procedures, and priority

 

 

 

Physical Requirements: 

The successful candidate will be able to perform the following with or without reasonable accommodation: 

  • Have a valid Driver’s license 
  • Be able to carry 50lbs 
  • Be able to climb a ladder

 

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary range for this position is: $23.00 – $28.00 hourly

 

Actual base pay for this job will depend on the candidate’s primary work location and other factors, such as relevant skills and experience. Pavlov Media is committed to complying with the Equal Pay Act and places a strong emphasis on internal equity when determining compensation. Final pay will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and alignment with our internal equity standards, ensuring fairness and consistency across the organization. The salary banding for this role also allows room for growth, with opportunities for pay increases within the band based on performance and contributions.
