This is an onsite position located in Lake Cities, TX. 

The FTTX Installer is responsible for the installation, support, and troubleshooting of fiber equipment/LVC for commercial and residential buildings on the Pavlov Media fiber backbone. In addition to FTTX installations this position will also be responsible for the installation of fiber enclosures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a customer first attitude to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Travel to each assigned site as needed to complete work orders
  • Share information and provide feedback to internal teams on a consistent basis
  • Field calls, emails, and work orders from Pavlov Media HQ
  • Demonstrate effective troubleshooting skills and the ability to use them
  • Understand network diagrams and other technical manuals
  • Assist with upkeep on network documentation and product training materials
  • Ensure that network quality meets Pavlov Media standards

  • Ability to mechanically/fusion splice Fiber Optic Cables
  • Aptitude to interpret, maintain, and create fiber optic splice maps
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues
  • Capable to assemble fiber enclosure and cans
  • Ability to fasten and secure enclosures to building structures
  • Strong understanding networking devices and wireless access points
