Connecting Your Router

Ethernet Connections

- Connect all devices to the Ethernet ports on your router.
- Connect an Ethernet cable between your router and the wall, using the WAN, Internet or Primary connection on your router.
Troubleshooting
- Check all connections beginning at the internet wall jack.
- Shut down all equipment.
- Power on all equipment, starting with the router.
If you are still unable to connect to the internet, try to connect directly to the wall jack. If you are able to connect, refer to the set-up manual for your router for the proper configuration, troubleshooting and more information.
Wireless Connections

- Connect your wireless router to your internet wall jack.
- Set-up all wireless devices to recognize your router (refer to computer / game system instructions).
- If any of your devices require an Ethernet connection, plug into an Ethernet port on the back of your router.
Troubleshooting
- Check all wireless connection settings, beginning with your wireless router.
- Shut down all equipment.
- Power on all equipment, starting with the router.

Broadband (Cable) Modem Connections

- Connect the broadband (cable) modem to the wall jack.
- Connect the router to the broadband modem.
- Connect desired devices to the router.
Troubleshooting
- Check all connections beginning at the internet wall jack.
- Shut down all equipment.
- Power on all equipment, starting with the broadband modem.
