Connecting Your Television

Basic Television Service

Basic Television Service is provided at many Pavlov Media-serviced communities and is accessible with a simple “plug-n-play” feature. To determine if Pavlov Media provides Basic Television Service, ask your leasing office or find your community (the availability section) on the map.

To watch basic television service, you need a coaxial cable and a cable-ready television. After connecting a coaxial cable from the wall plate video connection to your television/monitor input, perform the following steps to program your television. Since all televisions differ, these steps may vary.

  • Your television remote control or front-panel buttons must be accessible.
  • Go into menu mode.
  • Select Channel Setting.
  • Enable Cable or CATV (Do not select antenna mode).
  • Perform Channel Scan.

If you do not receive a signal for your analog channels, please read through the television Troubleshooting and FAQ sections of the Pavlov Media Universal User's Guide.

Advanced Digital Television Service

Advanced Digitial Television Service is provided at many Pavlov Media-serviced communities. To determine if Pavlov Media provides Advanced Digital Television Service, ask your leasing office or find my community (the availability section) on the map.

For residents who require premium services beyond the basic channel offering, there is an option to upgrade to a digital satellite receiver. Standard definition, high definition and DVR models are available at communities which offer Advanced Digital Television Service. See your leasing office for details.
